A second half rally came up just short for the Cooper Cougars as they fell to the Midland Lee Rebels.

The Cougars would trail by as much as ten points in the first half, but rally to take the lead late in the third quarter. It would be short lived though as Midland Lee would tie the game with a three-pointer early in the fourth.

They would build a four point lead from there, but the Coogs would not go down quietly. A fall away jumper by Kiante Douglas would cut the Lee lead back down to two midway through the final quarter.

With free throws the Rebels would once again build up their lead. That is until Juvon Banks cut it back down to two with a lay-up in the final minutes.

Unfortunately for the Cougars, Lee would continue to drain their free throws and hold on for a 53-51 victory.
