Cooper Rallies Against Sweetwater, 6-4

The Cooper Cougars were able to bounce back from a tough start to pick up a season-opening win over Sweetwater.

Cooper's Jonathan Nicholson would get into a small jam in the first inning, but a heads up play by his battery-mate, Garrett Hurst, would get the Cougars out the inning.

Sweetwater's James Clift would also get off to a good start to the season on the bump with a strike out of David Ruot.

Then Clift would score the Mustangs first run of the season in the second, and help push Sweetwater out to a 4-0 lead.

The Coogs would not go down without a fight, and rally back in the later innings for a 6-4 victory to start the season 1-0.
