Cowboys preparing for Falcons

November 8th, 2017 - The Dallas Cowboys started getting ready for the Atlanta Falcons at the Ford Center today. Mickey Spagnola has more in tonight's Silver Star Nation report.

On one hand, the Dallas Cowboys started preparations on Wednesday for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons. On the other hand, the Cowboys know that the availability of Ezekiel Elliott for the rest of the season rests in the hands of the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals three judge panel and how they rule Thursday. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott says if you play for the Dallas Cowboys you're used to focusing through distractions.

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott said, "We play for the Dallas Cowboys. It's as simple as that. You have to focus in to be focused on one thing and not be worried about the things around us. Control what we can control. We've got tours that come around all the time. We've got all the news, good and bad. It's just part of it. It's been part of this organization for quite a while. From last year to this year, it's just about being able to stay focused on the game plan and execute that and worry about these men in this lockerroom."

As for the Cowboys injury report on Wednesday. Dez Bryant, Tyron Smith, and Dan Bailey did not practice, but the good news was Terrance Williams coming off a career game against Kansas City wasn't even on the injury report. So, that ankle that he turned should be good to go against the Falcons.
