The Cooper Cougars picked up a big road win against San Angelo Central on Friday night thanks to some late game heroics by Devin Doolittle.

Central would jump out to an early lead but a bucket by Darrien Campos would cut it down to just one. A short time later a bucket by Doolittle would tie the game.

The teams would go back and forth in the first half with a total of eight lead changes.

Things wouldn't change in the second half either. The Bobcats would build a nice sized lead in the fourth quarter, but Cooper would once again rally and take the lead in the final minute.

Then a pair of free throws by the Bobcats would give Central a lead with 19 seconds left. That would leave the Cougars with a final shot, and the eventual game winner by Doolittle.

Cooper would get the big 56-55 win as they head into their Crosstown Showdown with the Abilene High Eagles on Friday night.
