Eagles are proud of their win

October 24, 2017 - Head coach Del Van Cox and his Eagles needed to win on Friday night to keep their playoff hopes, alive, and they got the job done, 30-7.

Raekwon Millsap delivered two rushing touchdowns and caught passes for 119 yards. The Eagles responded when their backs were against the wall, and the coach is proud.

Abilene High head coach Del Van Cox said, "Things are looking good. It's always good to get that win. Everything is more upbeat around the field house. It was most encouraging to get the win right before the open week. We played pretty good, but there are definitely some things that we've got to get better at. We've got to get better up front in the offensive line, but our defense is playing really good."

This is Abilene High's open date, so, no game. They continue district 3-6A play against Keller on November 2.
