First Half Highlights: Stamford vs. Shiner

The Stamford Bulldogs make their third straight trip to the state title game at AT&T Stadium. This year the Bulldogs would take on top ranked Shiner for the state crown.

The Bulldogs would strike first with a long touchdown pass from Bo Wimberly to James Washington to put Stamford up 7-0.

The Comanches would respond with 21 unanswered points to take a 21-7 lead into the locker room at halftime.

In the third quarter, Bo Wimberly added six with a 1 yard touchdown run, the extra point brought Stamford to within two scores.

At the start of the 4th quarter Shiner faced a 4th down and Stamford knocked the pass down to gain possession on their own 41.

A few plays later Bo Wimberly ripped off a 51-yard touchdown run to bring the Bulldogs to within a touchdown, the score Shiner 28, Stamford 21....

And just minutes later,
Bo Wimberly tossed a 60-yard touchdown pass to James Washington to tie the game in the 4th quarter.
