After weeks of searching, the Anson Tigers have named Chris Hagler as their next head football coach.

Hagler most recently was an assistant coach at Breckenridge under Steve Freeman. He was also the schools baseball coach, as well as their assistant strength and conditioning coach.

"I am looking forward to working with [Hagler]. He will be good for the community," said Anson principal Troy Hines.

Hagler will now take over a Tigers program that is coming off their second straight 10-2 season, and back-to-back playoff wins.
