Jack Named First-Team All-American

ABILENE, Texas -- Hardin-Simmons' senior forward Nathaniel Jack has been named a first-team All-American by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Jack was also the South region player of the year by the NABC. He adds that to his ever-growing list of awards that included South region player of the year by D3hoops.com earlier in the week and American Southwest Conference player of the year.

Jack had a dominating season for the Cowboys averaging 18.8 points and 11.9 rebounds per game. He also shot 58.9 percent from the field and led the team with 119 assists and 66 steals. His 368 rebounds on the year were a new ASC record.

He led the Cowboys to their second straight ASC title and a school record 24 wins in a 24-7 season. HSU also went to the Sweet 16 for the first time in school history. 

Jack joins Matt Addison, Mardochee Jean, and Zach Pickelman as Division III All-Americans for the Cowboys.
