Lady Pirates Like Team's History

January 25, 2017 - The Eula basketball programs are among the best in the state just about every year, and 2017 is no different.

Head coach Jamie Masonheimer's team is at the top of the district after Tuesday night's victory over Cross Plains, and they Lady Pirates are ranked 11th in the state with a 20-6 record.

Winning is expected at Eula, and the girls are coming through.

Paris Rock said, "It's definitely really cool for us to get to play for Eula because we have such a good tradition of winning and stuff so it puts a little bit of pressure to keep the tradition going but it's lots of fun."

Grace Masonheimer said, "It just means have a good attitude and play well with your teammates, just all around. We usually have a good Christian based team, and that's our main purpose."

Caylee Smith said, "It means a lot to me to be able to play with this team and be able to contribute to history,it just means a lot, it's exciting."

The Lady Pirates are back at home on Friday night where they will try to stay at the top of the district..

Eula hosts Rising Star in the first game their double header with the Wildcats.
