Loboes looking for 37th straight district win

October 19th, 2017 - The Cisco Loboes are ranked 15th in the state, and last week's district victory was the school's 36th district win in a row.

They haven't lost a game that counts since 2010.

This year, head coach Brent West's team is crippled with five starters out of action, but they are still a target this time of year, every year.

"We always expect high competition," Drew Dycus said. "As our coach says, every team that comes to play us it's like the Super Bowl for them because we've got Cisco across our chest."

"Being physical, that's what we have to do pretty much because everyone's pretty much faster and stronger than us so we'll just out-physical them and take the W's," Michael Pullen said.

"This is for championships, this is what really matters so we just gotta keep coming out and playing hard so hopefully we can get a district championship out of it," Jacob Reid said.

The Loboes are back at home this week. They host Coleman in an effort to win their 37th straight district game.
