Munday Falls to Iraan 40-12

December 2, 2016 - The Munday Moguls' season came to an end at the hands of Iraan, 40-12 in the state quarterfinals.  

Munday came out strong scoring twice in the first quarter.

The second touchdown came after an Iraan fumble. Then on fourth and goal, Trevaul Mitchell scrambled and finally hit Jacoby Thomas for a 12-0 lead.

However, Iraan started mounting a comeback and scored 40 unanswered points to bring Munday's season to an end.

Iraan ended Munday's season winning 40-12.

The other Class 2A Div.I team in action Friday night were the DeLeon Bearcats, who made it to the third round for the first time since 1990.

Crawford ended the Bearcats' playoff run with their 41-14 win.
