The Wylie Bulldogs beat Snyder, 9-3, on Tuesday to remain in 1st place in District 4-3A.

The Bulldogs fell behind early, but came back to retake the lead in the 2nd inning. Starting pitcher Mac Mueller helped his own cause with a basehit to centerfield that drove in a run to make it 2-1 in favor of the Bulldogs.

Snyder tied the up at 2 in the bottom of the 3rd, but Jaxson Bounds took care of that. He blasted a solo-homer over the fence in leftfield. Wylie led 3-2 and pulled away from that point forward.

Wylie improves to 7-1 in district play. Snyder falls to 4-4 with the loss.
