The Gorman Panthers are a team that is returning most of the team from the 2013 season.

Head coach Nick Guthery's Panthers return 9 starters on the offensive side of the ball and 9 starts on the defensive side of the ball.

They expect the struggles from the last 2 years to pay off this season.

Coach said "Our young players had to play early as freshmen and sophomores, and they got fed to the wolves early. So, as far as experience wise goes we should be a more mature team and we;re expecting them to step up. You know they aren't freshmen anymore, but still it's going to be tough."

Yovani Palacios said "We've got some pretty good experience from last year, so I hope we all get together as a team and work harder."

Daniel Herrera said "We know how to work together because we've been together, and hopefully it just works out."

Yovani Palacios gained 1,600 totals yards last season.

Omar Valaquez is back after 42 tackles in 2013.

Gorman starts the 2014 season at home against Millsap.
