The Hamlin Pied Pipers are this week's big mover among the eight Big Country teams ranked by Harris Ratings.

Once again this week, no Big Country Class 3A or Class 5A crack the top 25 by Harris Ratings. That means the largest schools to be ranked are found in Class 2A, and that starts with the Eastland Mavericks.

This week Eastland drops a spot to number seven after a win over Merkel on Friday night. Meanwhile, Comanche also drops slightly to number 25 despite remaining undefeated in district.

Cisco is the highest ranked Big Country team overall, and maintains their spot at number two in division two for the fourth straight week.

Once again this week the majority of Big Country teams that made it into the top 25 are in Class 1A. The highest of which is the Stamford Bulldogs at number four in division one. Not far behind them at number six is division rival Anson, who is coming off a win over Winters in their district opener last week.

Goldthwaite once again remains in the top ten this week after a double digit victory over San Saba.

Albany comes in at number six in division two this week after keeping their perfect record intact against Roby on Friday night.

Then there's the Hamlin Pied Pieprs, who this week jump a total of six spots to number 15 after a 60-0 win over Gorman on Friday night. It was also the Pipers sixth straight win since dropping the season opener to Anson.
