Sealey, QBs, Adjusting To New Schemes

April 6th, 2017 - ACU quarterback Dallas Sealey entered the spring as the quarterback on the Wildcats roster with the most experience, but with new coaches and a new offense, everyone was equal.

After 14 practices, head coach Adam Dorrel says he's proud of the work the junior has put in.

Sealey says he and the rest of team are better than they were.

"Over these 14 practices so far I feel like every single person on this team has come a long way," Dallas Sealey said. "Individually I feel like I have as well, obviously it's a whole new scheme and everything and the coaches are bringing in a whole new offense, so it took a little bit of time but I feel like slowly we're getting it down."

"Well he's learning, obviously it's been a learning curve for him, obviously everything's entirely different," Adam Dorrel said.

"From the terminology to the way we're trying to get him to read a defense to get the ball out of his hand, lot more play action, more screens, so he's done a really good job. I'm just proud of those guys. We put a lot on the quarterback and we're real hard on them so they've responded well."

The Purple/White scrimmage is Friday night at 6 at Shotwell. The public is invited.
