Silver Star Nation: Sean Lee is back

December 6th, 2017 - The Dallas Cowboys were back on the field today in Frisco. Mickey Spagnola has more on their preparations in the Silver Star Nation report.

After a five day break following the Cowboys victory over the Washington Redskins on Thursday, the Cowboys got back to work out here at the Ford Center on Wednesday.

Dak Prescott said he had no problem with his bruised hand. He was throwing just fine.

Not so good with right tackle La'el Collins who is still not getting back to practice. His back is acting up.

Maybe the best news for the Cowboys, Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee will play in this game on Sunday against the Giants after missing the past four games.

Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett knows how important that is for his defense.

Jason Garrett said, "It starts with the production. He's around the ball a lot, both in the run game and the pass game. It goes beyond that. His leadership, his ability to communicate, get everybody aligned, handle the different situations that come up in a game, whether is a unique personnel group or a unique formation, he's a very good communicator and gets everybody doing what they are supposed to do."

When Cowboys linebacker Anthony Hitchens asked how well Sean Lee practiced, he said he was Sean Lee. He was awfully juiced up.

How juiced was he, Anthony? Hitchens said he actually tackled a couple of guys. As we know, they don't tackle in practice.
