The Stamford Bulldogs are ready for their collision with Hico on Saturday in San Angelo in the Class A Div. I semifinals.

The Tigers enter the semifinal game ranked 10th in the state and have 1 win over a top 10 team in the state.

Stamford on the other hand, is ranked 2nd, and they have wins over #5 Anson and #3 New Deal this season.

The Bulldogs say if they come to play, they will walk away from that game with the win.

"We've got to make sure we execute both offensively and defensively. We've got to make sure that we number one hang on to the football. Then it really comes down to field position then what it takes as the special teams are concerned," said head coach Wayne Hutchinson.

"To win we're going to have to stop the run game. We're going to have to be more physical, read our keys, we can't look past that. We have to read our keys, and do what we were coached to do. If we do that, we'll win the football game," said senior Ty McLemore.
