The Bulldogs enter as the defending state champions and they look like a team that could repeat as state champions this year.
Head coach Wayne Hutchinson and his team had a bye in the 1st round and had an open date 2 weeks before that.
Some teams might be rusty, but the Bulldogs say they are ready to go.
"The problem we have is, now we have another opent week [after the Anson game] and now we have another big ball game. So again we just tried to polish up on our fundamentals, and again try to get everybody healthy, but we're hungry to go play a game again," said head coach Wayne Hutchinson.
"I think it will pay off a lot because those bye weeks you can prepare for people a lot more, get to know their offense a lot better and what to your going to be going up against. It's a big help when it comes to the playoffs," said Ty McLemore.
"As a coaching staff, and as players, we're just ready to get back in the groove and see what we' can build off of what we've accomplished up to this point each week," said Hutchinson.
Stamford is riding a 5 game winning streak.
The Bulldogs play Panhandle for the Area Championship on Friday night.
