The Stamford Bulldogs are this week's big movers out of the five Big Country teams that are ranked by Harris Ratings.

Most of the teams ranked this week had already played their third round playoff game before the Harris Ratings were released on Monday afternoon. That is everyone except the Eastland Mavericks, who were ranked at number five in Class 2A Div. I.

A couple hours later the Mavericks won their third round match-up with Bangs, and set up a meeting with second ranked Wall on Saturday.

The Cisco Loboes once again come in at number two in division two after their 41-14 win over Abernathy. Now the Loboes will meet the number seven Canadian Wildcats, who knocked out the Loboes a year ago.

In Class 1A Div. I is where you can find the Stamford Bulldogs. This week Wayne Hutchinson's team jumps to number two after their 42-7 win over Sundown. On Saturday night they will take on number three New Deal in Snyder.

The Anson Tigers remain at number five more than a week after being eliminated by Stratford.

Goldthwaite on the other hand dropped out of the top ten this week after their 14-13 win over DeLeon. They will take on number nine Hico in the fourth round.

The Albany Lions come in at number eight in division two once again this week. The Lions knocked out number nine Iraan last Friday with a field goal in the final seconds. This week they will look to advance to the state semifinals with a win over number six Muenster.
