The Munday Moguls, the defending Class A Div. II state champions, lost to Iraan in double-overtime on Thursday night, 28-21.

Iraan broke a 21-21 tie in the 2nd overtime in San Angelo with a touchdown to force Munday to get in the end zone to extend the game. The Moguls were unable to score when they had the ball.

The game went back and forth all night. Iraan led, 14-12 at halftime, but L.J. Collier gave Munday the lead with a field goal early in the 3rd quarter.

The Moguls later added a touchdown to make it a 21-14 lead.

The Braves, though, scored with less than :30 to go in the game to force the overtime.

The loss snaps Munday's 6 game winning streak in the playoffs.
