A late offensive explosion helped Sweetwater come back to knock off Andrews on Monday afternoon.

Andrews would jump out to a big lead thanks to a four run second inning. The Mustangs got off to a promising start in the bottom half of the second, only to see their scoring threat come to an end with Quentin Wetsel being thrown out at the plate.

It wouldn't take long for Andrews to find the plate again in the third inning. A base hit back up the middle by Jase Hammock would drive home another run to put Andrews up 6-0, and chase Sweetwater ace James Clift from the game.

Stephen May would enter the game in relief and would get out of the third with a strike-out of Marc Garciato.

Sweetwater would have problems getting their offense going against Andrews starter Aaron Marquez, but would chip away at the Mustangs lead.

Then in the seventh and final inning they would rally from five down to win by the count of 9-8.
