Warren's Wisdom: Rams control Cowboys

Oct. 2, 2017 - David Robinett talks to Steve Warren about the Cowboys loss to the L.A. Rams in Warren's Wisdom.

David Robinett said, "It's time for more Warren's Wisdom. Steve Warren, former Abilene High head coach coach, joins us now. Talking about the Cowboys. Disappointing performance by the defense, I think. They let the Rams control the game."

Steve Warren said, "I thought so. I thought the Rams uptempo offense really hurt them. They weren't able to match them personel wise, which is a big deal in the NFL. They weren't able to get their defensive linemen rest. Notice, Lawrence wasn't near the factor he was last week because he just got tired. You got to give credit where credit is due. The Rams played really well."

David Robinett said, "Coaching makes a big difference. Wow! Jared Goff is a completely different guy. Let's get back to the Cowboys. They had the tables turned on them, too. The Cowboys are used to ball control. The Rams did it to them."

Warren said, "They did it to them. Todd Gurley is a beast. He's every bit as good as Ezekiel Elliott. He showed it out there on the road, hostile crowd, they did a great job. You've got to tip your hat to them."

Robinett said, "That's it. Hopefully, the Cowboys get a win next week. We will find out.
