What ACU is missing

October 18th, 2017 - The ACU Wildcats lost their second game in a row on Saturday night.

Nicholls topped head coach Adam Dorrel's team 29-20.

This is the second week in a row the Wildcats stayed within striking distance of a nationally ranked opponent.

They are this close to breaking through.

They can be better on the field, but Dorrel insists more needs to be done off the field to make up the difference.

"One of the things we've really talked about in the last 10 days is our personal accountability to each other and to our football program that I think can be better. It's off the field stuff, academics, the weight room, our nutrition, things that I don't think we're doing great right now as a football program and we could be doing better," Adam Dorrel said.

"I've challenged our seniors on that and hopefully that can get down to our young guys, we've talked about it as a team but there's just a whole, it's a whole spectrum of things that go into getting that W."

The Wildcats host Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday at 2:30. It's homecoming for the Wildcats.
