The Wylie Bulldogs are a playoff regular in high school baseball in Class 3A, and they are in prime position for another postseason appearance this year, thanks to a great start to the district schedule.

The 9th ranked Bulldogs beat Snyder on Tuesday to improve to 3-0 in District 4-3A.

It's a great start, but the Bulldogs say they have to keep working because they haven't accomplished anything, yet.

Jaxon Bounds said "It's been awesome. Obviously the goal is to go undefeated in district, and starting off 3-0 is just a huge confidence booster."

Coach Clay Martin said "We prepared really hard before district to be at a spot where we wanted to be, and I think we've done very well each and every game of being ready to play. Once district gets here there's not going to be any easy ones so you've got to be ready every Tuesday and Friday."

The Bulldogs are headed back on the road on Friday. They take on the Sweetwater Mustangs in Sweetwater in a game that starts at 7pm.
