The Abilene High Eagles are in the middle of a 2 game losing streak for the 1st time in 5 years, but they are still in the Class 5A top 20. The Eagles are ranked 20th.

The Wylie Bulldogs fell out of the top 25 after losing to Lucas Lovejoy, but Snyder and Brownwood are still mentioned. Snyder enters the week at #18. The Lions are 24th in the state as they prepare to take on Ft. Worth All Saints at Gordon Wood Stadium.

The Merkel Badgers are the big movers this week. They jumped from 27 to 11 in Class 2A Div. I. Eastland is 17th and they are getting ready for a matchup with #1 Godley. Colorado City is the 24th ranked team in Class 2A Div. I.

The Cisco Loboes are the top rated Class 2A team in the Big Country. The Loboes are ranked 7th in Division II. They take on undefeated Hico on Friday.

The Big Country is the most powerful in Class A Div. I. Albany is ranked 4th in the state, Goldthwaite is 5th, and Stamford is #9.

Munday moves up  to #3 this week in the Class A Div. II Harris Ratings. Hamlin has lost 4 straight, but they are 14th.
