Today marks the anniversary of a traffic accident which took the lives of two Abilene girls. The father of Brianna Camacho, one of the girls who was killed, is also the uncle of Elexus Flores. Rocky Flores started his day at 3:30 this morning at the crash sight where family gathered to remember Briana and Elexus.

You can tell by Rocky Flores' voice just how painful it still is for him to remember the horrible night one year ago when he was told his daughter was involved in an accident. He still does not know everything that took place and is still looking for anybody who can tell him what really happened. The driver of the vehicle, Elisio Garza, was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Flores has started the Bre-lex Scholarship memorial fund, they held their first fund. They held their first fundraiser last weekend and will hold another soon. He is urging other parents not to let it come to light like it did for him.

The second fundraiser will be for the Bre-Lex Scholarship Memorial Fund will be on April 30th at the Pizza Inn by the Abilene Mall from 5 o'clock until 8 o'clock. Part of the proceeds from that night will go to the fund set up for high-schoolers who will be the first in their family to go to college.
