Abilene Celebrates National Children's Book Week

The National Center For Children's Illustrated Literature (NCCIL) has partnered with the Abilene Public Library to celebrate National Children's Book Week.
The National Center For Children's Illustrated Literature (NCCIL) has partnered with the Abilene Public Library to celebrate National Children's Book Week.

The library will be holding special book reading during their story time hours across this week (May 13-17). The whole week will end at the NCCIL where there will be readings of Remy Charlip's 'Fortunately' and Maurice Sendak's 'Where The Wild Things Are' accompanied by an art activity inspired by the books.

Chairman of the NCCIL Dr. Larry Wolz stopped by KTAB 4u Tuesday to go over the importance of the week and the details of the event.
