William Trussell, 26, was riding his bicycle home one August night when at some point, he fell and landed on the bone, dry Catclaw Creek.
Two boys found Trussell the next morning and responders attended to him before flying him out to Dallas. Trussell suffered multiple skull fractures, a shattered sinus cavity, and brain swelling and bleeding. He underwent two surgeries with his mother accompanying him the entire time.
Trussell's mother, Lisa Clark brought her son back home September 11, and since then, has taken care of his every move. She says he's constantly feeling pain in his head, and has a hard time opening his right eye.
The case has been reported as a medical incident.
