On December 25th at approximately 2:30 am, Abilene Police received several calls of a reckless driver on Interstate 20. Patrol Officers made contact with the suspected vehicle, a rented Toyota SUV.

The vehicle was occupied by a 48-year old white female driver who was under obvious medical duress. She told officers that she had abused methamphetamine several times during her travel. She was taken to a local hospital wherein she was treated for serious medical conditions.

The woman’s vehicle was found to have approximately 2 grams of methamphetamine and approximately 180 pounds of hydroponic marijuana. This marijuana has a street value of $1.6 million.
