ACU Expects To Have Edge Over Houston Baptist

This is the 1st year Houston Baptist has fielded a football team, and because that is the case, the Wildcats feel they have the advantage on Saturday.
The ACU Wildcats continue their long strange trip this week.

After 3 straight games at home, they've been to Illinois, Frisco, and Kansas.

This week it down south to Houston to take on Houston Baptist.

This is the 1st year HBU has fielded a football team, and because that is the case, the Wildcats feel they have the advantage on Saturday.

Head coach Ken Collums said, "The bottom line is, those guys haven't played together. Our guys have. I mean, they've played 3 games in the existence of their football program. Making adjustments is a problem. Playing together under duress, under pressure is a problem. That is a process in its self to be able to trust your teammate."

Josh Perez added, "Going through adversity, your team just becomes closer. When you fight through struggles together you build camaraderie with each other. When you have a team like that, you are just going to be able to fight better together and win games and pull through whenever stuff doesn't go your way."

The Wildcats are back on the road for the 4th time in 4 games this week. Their game with Houston Baptist starts at 7:30 in Houston.
