The ACU men and women made it through their 1st weekend of Southland Conference play.

The ladies were especially impressive in their only game last week. They went to New Orleans and dominated the Privateers by 44 points.

It was good to get that 1st game out of the way, and now, head coach Julie Goodenough and her ladies are looking forward to hosting a Southland game for the 1st time tomorrow night.

Julie Goodenough said "You know we've been telling people this is a pretty historical night, tomorrow night. Just our first Division I game at home, our first Southland game at home, our first possibility to win a home game in 2014."

Lizzy Dimba said "Really exciting because we get to play in front of our fan base, and getting to play our first Division I basketball game at home. So, it's going to be really fun, and hopefully we get a lot of fans and win."

The women's game is at Moody Coliseum against Oral Roberts University at 7.
