The ACU Wildcats enter the week riding a 3 game losing streak after falling to Pittsburgh State on Saturday up in Kansas.

The loss is not a good thing, but what was good was the way the defense played in the 28-20 loss.

The Gorillas came in averaging 57 points a game.

The Wildcats allowed just 3 touchdowns  and scored on the an interception in the 1st half. It was a great day for the Wildcats "D".

Head coach Ken Collums said, "We slowed down their offense.  At times it didn't look like, but you look up and coach Dulin and his guys are doing it, again, keeping them out of the end zone. Those guys averaged, before we played them, no telling how many touchdowns just in the 1st half.  I thought our d-line played really well. That was the best that we've played, up to this point. I thought our linebackers played really well. When you are playing well at those positions, You are able to get some stops."

ACU tries to snap their 3-game losing streak on Saturday. They travel down to Houston to take on Houston Baptist, which is a 1st year program.
