The Abilene High Eagles are coming off a tough loss to Odessa Permian on Friday night. In this week's Tuesday Conversation David talks to head coach Steve Warren about the game and what the Eagles need to work on before the next one.

David said, "Your team had a rough night the other night.  It started great, and then it fell off after that. What are your thoughts?"

Abilene High head coach Steve Warren said, "We probably started off better than we have all season long. We created some turnovers right from the start. The offense took the turnovers and put them in the back of the end zone. 14-0 and rolling. You got to continue that, though. You don't just stop after 1 quarter, and react poorly when bad things happen to you, as well."

Robinett said, "Turning over the football was the thing, and it's been the thing in your 3 loses. How do you fix it?"

Coach Warren said, "You don't do anything different. We've got those things built into our practice. We always have. We are not a team that's typically turned the ball over. So, at this point and time, what we got to do is make sure we focus on the little things. When you are in traffic, 2 hands on the ball. Making good decisions with the football, things like that. You know, getting rid of it at the quarterback spot and not holding on to it too long. You know, little bitty things like that you can touch on 1 more time to make sure that you are taking care of it."

Abilene High will play their next three games at Shotwell Stadium, starting with this week's match-up against San Angelo Central on Friday night.
