AISD Says New Bond Will Complete Projects Started with 2004 Bond

The Abilene School District says money for the proposed $87 million bond would help finish projects started by the $76.5 million bond in 2004. Schools renovated with previous bond money will be finished with the new bond money, if voters approve the bond in the November election. The bond would cause taxes to increase by about $50 per year per household.
