11 Year old Eastland County girl is recovering after being kidnapped, stabbed, and left for dead at Lake Cisco. A 21 year old Cisco man is now facing charges.
UPDATED 10:15AM Monday January 6, 2014

A 21 year old man is behind bars at the Eastland County Jail charged in connection with the abduction and stabbing of an 11 year old girl Sunday in Cisco.

Clayton Fought is charged with Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, and Attempted Capital Murder. Each count has a bond of 1-million dollars.

BCH.com News has obtained all three of the criminal complaints, two of those are posted with this article.  We have not posted the third because it is specific as to how investigators believe the young girl was sexually assaulted.

The incident began around noon Sunday, that's when family reported the 11 year old missing.  She was found more than three hours later at Lake Cisco suffering from stab wounds, according to the family, in the neck and leg.

She was flown by helicopter to Cook Children's Hospital in Ft. Worth where we are told, she remains in stable condition.

BCH.Com News and our partners KTAB News & KRBC News are not identifying the victim.

Initial reports are that Fought may have lured the girl away from her home with the promise of taking her to a surprise birthday party.  Her family tells us her birthday is today (Monday Jan. 6th).

There are plans for a vigil tonight in Cisco.  Once we have those plans confirmed we will post them here and on our Social Media pages.
