To add to the widely popular Mystery Dinner, the fundraiser is bringing in the Bill Smallwood Swing Band for a jumping - jiving good time! There will be silent and live auctions, a steak dinner, drinks and a 1940’s style Swing dance. The event will be held on Saturday, February 15 from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Brownwood Regional Airport Hangar.
This event is the first annual one for new Ark Shelter Executive Director Terri Densman. “While this is a major fundraiser for the ARK, it is also one of the most fun events in the area.” Densman said. “We are especially excited to have booked one of the premier swing bands in Texas. The atmosphere of the hangar and the 1940’s theme really works together with the Mystery Dinner.”
The ARK is looking for sponsors for the event.
Platinum Underwriters, for $2,500.00, receive 10 tickets, 10 MDT t-shirts, and 40 drink tickets.
Gold Underwriters, for $1000.00, receive 8 tickets, 8 MDT t-shirts, and 24 drink tickets. Silver Underwriters, for $500.00, receive 6 tickets, 6 MDT t-shirts and 12 drink tickets. Bronze Underwriters, for $250.00, receive 4 tickets.
