Balance On Offense Will Help Hamlin Lady Pipers In Postseason

The Hamlin Lady Pipers are rolling as they get ready to open the 2012 postseason.

Hamlin won the district title with a perfect record, and they open up to playoffs with a 27-1 record. But, there isn't a star on the team, the secret to the year so far has been balance on the offensive end of the floor.

We don't have one specific person that can score. When one person is off another person is on, and we play as a team. And our defense gets us a lot." says Kalicia McCoy.

"At the beginning of the year we talked about how we each have to trust each other, and that's what it's been about the whole time. We don't have a star player that scores 40 points a game, we have four people who score 10 points a game each, and that's what has made us good." adds Chelsea Rodgers.

The Lady Pipers start the playoffs against the Albany Lady Lions. That game is Friday night in Anson at 7:30.
