Lineman Brandon Barrios said "That'd feel really good to just beat them on their own turf. I think we can do it and I believe we can do it and I think we are going to do it."
"It would be huge to go to Bangs and get the win there. We've always thought of them as a rival and it would be great," receiver Royce Harris said. "We haven't beaten them in a couple of years, and it would be good to go over there and get a win."
"We always consider Bangs obviously a big game. We face them in about every sport we play and its been several years since we've beat them in anything, so we've been preaching that all week long, how important it is to dial it in and focus and know that this is a game we can win," Head Coach Brad Ballard said. "If we can get over the mental hurdle of being that it is Bangs and they've beaten us the last couple of years. We've got to get over that hurdle and just do the little things right. Just take care of ourselves. If we can take care of us everything will take care of itself."
Kickoff for that game is set at the universal start time of 7:30 Friday night at Bangs High School.
