Brownwood Lionettes to Perform at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

The Brownwood High School Lionettes will be performing at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade in November. This is after the team won the All American Award at their summer camp, allowing them the opportunity to partake in the parade. The team is focused on fundraising for their trip, and say they're just happy they have a chance to go to the parade and perform.
The Brownwood High School Lionettes will be performing at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade in November. This is after the team won the All American Award at their summer camp, allowing them the opportunity to partake in the parade.

So far, 13 of the 24 Lionettes will be headed to New York. The team is focused on fundraising for their trip, and say they're just happy they have a chance to go to the parade and perform.

The chance for the performance of their lives has not only brought up their confidence, it has also brought the team together.

Fundraisers include a brisket wrap sale at the Brownwood Walmart from 10-2 August 10th. The Lionettes will also host a Bunko Night at the Grand Starz Bingo Hall on August 20th.
