On Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at approximately 9:00pm, officers with the Brownwood Police Department responded to 1400 Coggin Ave, Wes-T-Go Convenience Store, regarding a report of a robbery.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with the store clerk who informed them that an unknown suspect, displaying a handgun, entered the store and demanded money from the cash register.  The money was provided and the suspect left the scene without further incident.

The investigation is ongoing and information is still being developed.
