Every October and April, people can drop off old prescriptions, medications, or over the counter drugs. This program helps keep drugs off the streets or getting into the wrong hands.

This program was started by the DEA. After the Brownwood Police collects everything, they give it to the DEA to incinerate and destroy properly.

They hope to remind people that medication is to not go down the drain, toilet and landfill.

If anyone wants get rid of medication anytime, they can drop it off at the police station.
