Brownwood Veterans Day Parade Brings the Community Together

It's important to remember the men and women who served this country.
It's important to remember the men and women who served this country.

That's according to organizers in Brownwood who held their Veterans Day Parade Saturday morning. And the whole county took part.

All the high schools bands in Brown County joined together as one in honor of the veterans. Brownwood, Early, Bangs, and May combined their bands to form one big unity.

This is the second time the schools have done this.Last year it was only Brownwood and Early, but this year, it was expanded to all schools in the county. They marched through the streets of downtown Brownwood thanking the men and women who served this country. They marched together in unison, all wearing the same t-shirt to show their unity and patriotism.

After the parade a ceremony was held honoring all veterans. And the Early Band Director hopes he created a tradition that will last for many years to come.
