Can't Beat Tradition At AHS

Several teams around the Big Country are changing their look. Whether it be with new uniforms, or new helmets, or a new logo. One that is a constant, Abilene High.
Several teams around the Big Country are changing their look.

Whether it be with new uniforms, or new helmets, or a new logo.

One that is a constant, Abilene High. You can count on Abilene High wearing old gold helmets with a black face mask, and black on black at home and white on white on the road.

So why don't they change?

Coach Warren said, "David, it's a program thing. We love what we do. It's a tradition rich program like any other in the state of Texas. You don't win games with  jersey changes and helmet changes, but you can draw strength from the tradition that what that means. We talk about that, and we think it's important. It's been very successful us, and we are going to keep building on it."

The Eagles start the 2013 season at home in the Champions Classic. They play Hebron at 7:30 on August 30th.
