It happened around 7 a.m. on the westbound lane of Interstate 20, just past Arnold Blvd. Three adults and four children were the passengers of the vehicle.
Police say the driver, who was a grandmother to some of the children, was heading from Fort Worth to Colorado City. The driver dozed off and drifted to the left. She over-corrects and lost control. As a result, the vehicle flipped over and rolled several times on a hill.
All the passengers except for the driver were ejected. Police say seat belts weren't being utilized.
According to reports, the driver was fatigued from having left early. Two small bags of marijuana were found on the scene, but police believe that neither drugs or alcohol were a factor.
