Todd Moebes, Cooper head coach, said, "It's great to be in preparation for somebody else. We are no different than anybody else in the state. I'm all the other coaches feel the exact same way. You go through Spring ball, and you are seeing your own offense and talking about what you do in house, but now you finally have the opportunity to game plan and prepare for somebody else. It's fun."
Robinett asked, "Offensively, a lot of guys back, like we've talked about before. Do you feel like that group has come along the way that you've wanted them to, especially since, they are a little bit more experienced?"
Coach Moebes answered, "I think they've progressed very well. We are not where we want to be, and we are striving to get there. I am very pleased. Those guys coming back up front certainly play a huge role in that."
Robinett asked, "Defensively, a lot of questions. It's been 2 weeks since we've talked about those guys. Are you happy with those guys and are any doubts you may have had gone?"
Coach Moebes answered, "We are not where we need to be. We had a great test against Westlake in our scrimmage. That's a good measuring tool for where we are at, and where we want to be. We've got to be a lot better on the defensive side of the ball, and our kids are working hard this week to be able to do that."
