Cisco Reed Is Playing Well, But Credit Is Shared

Mason Reed is one of the many reasons the Cisco Loboes are still playing and he had one of his best games of the year last week.
The Cisco Loboes are 1 of 5 Big Country teams that are still alive after the 3rd round of the postseason.

Mason Reed is one of the many reasons the Loboes are still playing and he had one of his best games of the year last week.

Reed rushed for 113 yards, caught passes for 45 yards and he found the end zone 4 times against Abernathy.

He's playing well, but the credit is shared in Cisco.

Brent West said "Mason had a great game on both sides of the ball. I think he'll be the first to tell you that our  offensive line played great last week."

Mason Reed said "You know you get to the end of the season, and I'm thinking, since I'm a senior and this is my last time, I really got to start stepping it up even more. Our line, this whole year, they've been getting better and better, working on each opponent. They've been getting a whole lot better, making holes for us better, driving. You can't give enough credit to them. They do so much for us."

Reed and the Loboes take on Canadian in the Class 2A Div. II quarterfinals on Friday. Canadian knocked Cisco out of the playoffs last year.
