The Clyde Police Department is seeking the public's help in catching a hit-and-run suspect in which a pedestrian was injured.

Clyde Police Chief Robert Dalton states that around 8 a.m. last Friday (Sept. 13), a female pedestrian was hit by a car at the intersection of Sunset Drive and Warren Avenue in Clyde. The woman suffered head injuries and was taken to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene. She was released later that day.

The car that struck the woman left the scene. A witness describes the car as a white 2-door car, possibly an early-2000's Pontiac Sunfire or Chevy Cavalier, driven by a white male. The car may have damage on the right side where the pedestrian was hit.

Chief Dalton requests anyone with information to please call Clyde PD at 325-893-4111.
