The Clyde Bulldogs kept their playoff hopes alive with a victory over the Comanche Indians on Friday evening.

The Bulldogs wasted little time getting on the board against Comanche. In the second inning Jaxon Sullivan drove home Mason Latham with a grounder to the short stop.  That gave the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead.

A short time later Ty Spears smacked a line-drive back up the middle, and brought home Clint Lesley to extend the Bulldog advantage.

Chance Jeffcoat would extend the Bulldog lead by another two runs in the second inning with a two-run knock into left-center.

At that point the Bulldogs led 4-0 and would hold on for a 5-1 victory.

That would keep the Bulldogs one back of third place Merkel with just one game remaining in the season.
