Although flu season is technically a little ways off, many are flocking to the pharmacy in an effort to prevent the spread later. Fall is just around the corner, and that means the start of the flu season. Signs are popping up like weeds in front of local pharmacies "get your flu shot today". Some stores have been offering flu protection for weeks. If you got your shot early, experts say don't panic.

However, according to a series of European studies released this year, PA vaccinations lost their effectiveness faster than expected. During the 2011/2012 flu season, the vaccines' power dropped sharply after 3-4 months. By mid-February the vaccine was less than 1% effective. Let us know what you think.
