The Longhorns would respond with a touchdown of their own when Larry Hill carried the ball into the end zone. That tied the game up at seven.
The Cougars' Zach Lehr would then hit a 48 yard field goal, tied for the second longest in school history, to make the game 10-7.
Cedar Hill would take the lead when Aca'Cedric added a rushing touchdown. The Longhorns took a 14-10 into the half.
Cedar Hill would score twice in the third quarter to make it 28-10 Longhorns.
In the fourth, the Cougars would close the gap when Trey Dye scored a short rushing touchdown. That made it 28-17.
Late in the fourth the Cougars would again close the gap when Lorenzo Joe found Aaron Anderson in the end zone to make the game 28-23.
The Cedar Hill Longhorns would hold on and win it 28 to 23 as the Cougars season ends. They finish with an 8 and 5 record on the year.
